Biomass firing plants are working with renewable energy sources, this permit to sell produced electricity at higher price (as “green” electricity), but at the same time it applies restriction on produced heat energy after steam turbine and electrical energy ratio (it should be not less than 23 %).

We offer the operatio visualization automated systems, which are constructed in terms of programmed digital controllers for automatic control of the STEAM, GAS and HYDRO-TURBINES, COOLING SYSTEMS, OIL FEEDING, VENTILATION equipment, information acquistion and handling, and also warning system.

Company “GANDRAS ENERGOEFEKTAS” offers biomass fired boilers.
In EU countries in primary energy producing biomass usage is quite high (66.1 %) comparing with other renewable energy, and takes the third place on electricity production, yielding to hydro- and wind-power engineering.
Biomass is:

  • wood,
  • vine (fast-growing trees, such as poplars, willows, and grasses, such as millet),
  • woodworking wastes (bark, sawdust,  boards cuttings, shaving),
  • agriculture wastes (sugar-cane cake, maize (corn) roots and stems, rise husk, straw, nutshell),
  • used paper.11

  • Medium capacity boilers from 7 MW up to 75 MW

Fuel 
for automatic boilers: wood pellets, agropellets agropellets (for example, cotton waste) , straw pellets , sun flower husk pellets, peat pellets (max. humidity up 25 %).
for manual boilers: wood logs and wood pieces.

These boilers can be used for production of how water with max. temperature 110 C and max. working pressure 6 bar.

  SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Monoblock design boilers made of steel with smoke tubes have special turbulence promoters to increase boiler operation performance.
Boiler has two separate doors for tube part and combustion chamber inspection.
Fuel supply to the boiler can be in automatic mode or manually.
In case of automatic fuel supply boiler will be supplied with receiving bin, which has fuel level switches, ensuring fuel supply system switching on (in case of fully automatic boiler plant operation) or gives signal to the personal about low fuel level. There is also minimum fuel level switch, achieving which boiler’s automatic system stops it.
It is possible to supply automatic ignition system.
It is possible to supply modulation system, which will keep automatically adjusted outlet water temperature in the same time adjusting quantity of supplied to the boiler fuel and combustion air. 
In case of automatic fuel supply, ashes, which appear in the combustion chamber, are removing automatically by means of two screw conveyors to the ashes collecting containers.

Boilers are manufactured in accordance with International standard TÜV CERT and have CE marking.
Warrantee time for these boilers is 2 years.

JSC “Gandras Energoefektas” offers electric power plants complete with diesel and gas engines for electricity and heat production.
Gas and diesel engine sets differ by its reliability and high efficiency values operating in heavy duty conditions. In engines construction are user new very resistant materials, which increase engine lifetime.
Power plants can be supplied like opened or packaged sound-proof units.

We offer:

  • Cogeneration units on a basis of diesel and gas engines with power range from 65 kWe up to 3000 kWe
  • Diesel generator sets with power range from 5 kW up to 2000 kW.

By customer’s request diesel generator can be completed with:

  • Sound insulation, which allow to install diesel generator set in living quarters,
  • Required configuration and quantity of sockets,
  • Automatic engine start-up function in case of electricity loss (stand by conditions).

Cogeneration units on a basis of  gas engines with a power range from 65kW up to 3000 kW.

We can offer to the customer engine depend on chemical gas composition (gas from dumps, product fermentation or etc.).

Main advantages of gas engines offered by JSC “GANDRAS ENERGOEFEKTAS”:

  • Open type combustion chamber is used - in contrast to engines with preliminary combustion chamber, engine’s temperature regime is less strained, what secure longer life time   
  • Running on a lean mixture of fuel and air, this design significantly reduces the production of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and increases fuel efficiency. The result is a generator set with a high power output, maximum thermal efficiency and NOx emissions as low as 0.7 grams per brake horsepower–hour
  • Can operate at very low gas pressure – up to 0,2 bar abs. – it is not required to install additional compressor station.
    co-generation sets are fully completed with digital control system, which secures automatic synchronization, units putting into parallel operation and load distribution.
  • Integrated into control system algorithm digital control of active and reactive powers distribution result in minimizing of power losses when several station operate in parallel. Total power losses, in that way, do not exceed 0,5 %.
  • It is possible to supply co-generation plant in container, designed for outside installation, and also in canopy which allows to reach noise level inside of the plant in accordance with EU Norms.

Deaerators are used to remove the corrosive gases (oxygen and free carbonic acid) from feeding water of steam generating units and from makeup water of heat and hot water supply systems.

We offer the folowing deaerators types:

  • atmosphere pressure deaerators (absolute working pressure 1,2 bar); capacity from 5 to 100* t/h
  • vacuum deaerators (absolute working pressure lower than atmosphere); capacity from 5 to 100* t/h
  • membranous deaerators; capacity from 30 l/h – 90 000 l/h

* Basing on serial produced deaerators could be designed and manufactured others modifications in accordance with Customer’s parameters.

JSC ”Gandras Energoefektas” implemented the project on purchasing and implementing wastes sorting line and plastic processing line in Visaginas in 2011.

Feeding chain conveyor is designed to feed unsorted garbage to sorting line. All wastes are moved to the dibhole of the feeding conveyor and later are fed up to sorting belt conveyor. Angle of feeding conveyor inclining reaches 35 degree.

Sorting belt conveyor is mounted on the sorting platform and designed for sortable recyclable materials transportation and hand picking. While selecting appropriate grades worker drops it down to the hopper. Along the sorting conveyor there are working places with chutes. Each working place has emergency stop button. Part of selected material (waste paper, PET, plastics etc.) is going down to accumulating areas through the chutes.

Sorting platform is an essential element of sorting complex, what is necessary for more efficient selection (quantitative and qualitative) of useful grades from the stream. On the sorting platform there are mounted sorting conveyor and working places for workers to select appropriate grades from the wastes mainstream. Sorting platform completed with the modular room and screening drum. Screening drum is designed to sieve wastes stream. In the wastes sorting line screening drum is the first stage of sorting wastes. Operating principle of screening drum is to screen the material from small grades through the drum holes. Modular room is equipped with work places (number of required work places is being defined according to the requested output of wastes sorting line), where each working place has emergency stop button. Room is equipped with heat recuperating ventilation systems and electrical heaters.

Single-chamber hydraulic baler complete with feeding chain conveyor and PET perforator. Working with a paper PET perforator automatically shutdown. Hydraulic baler is automatically controlled with PLC control panel. Single-chamber hydraulic baler is designed to press recyclable materials into bales with specified sizes.

Reversible belt conveyor is designed to transport wastes, which left after selecting useful grades to an opened container, located under the conveyor belt from one side or to transport sorted recyclable material to feeding belt conveyor to hydraulic baler from the other side. Material feeding can be performed to the left or right side, what ensures complex non-stop operation.

Sorted recyclable wastes are feeding to the press by feeding chain conveyor (Z type). Angle of feeding conveyor inclining reaches 35 degree.
