Expansion joint is an insert elements made from different metals, natural and synthetic elastomers, and used to compensate thermal expansions of pipelines, pipelines axis misalignment, and also to suppress and reduce vibration and noise during pipelines, pumps and others mechanisms operation.
Expansion joints are designed for installation in cooling, heating and ventilation systems of different factories and industries, power plants and ships, and also used in municipal water supply systems and canalizations, treatment and effluent treatment plants, on pumps, turbines and boilers to compensate large temperature floating, to suppress vibration, noise, and hydroblow.
