Complete mechanical waste water treatment in one plant
The plant consist of:
- Fine screen
- Screenings press
- Grit trap (aerated)
- Grease trap
- Grit classifier
Short process description
The waste water flows through the channel towards the Complete Plant (subterraneously installation) or it is transported there via a pump (above ground).
Plant several process steps are integrated in one container made of stainless steel.
The waste water first of all streams through a Fine Screen (bar spacing 0.6 mm) or through a Screen (bar spacing 3mm and/or 5mm).
The dehydrated and compacted screenings are thrown into a stanardized container.
The press water is returned to the waste water stream which avoids a BOD change.
By means of the integrated press the volume of the screenings is reduced by 60% which saves disposal costs.
The Grit Trap follows which is laid out according to the ATV regulations (regulations issued by the sewage engineering organization). Here the settling material is transported in opposite direction to the flow and washed out by organic substances. At the end of the horizontal settling material screw conveyor the settling material falls in a sump at the side.
From this sump the settling material is discharged via a Grit Classifier. The grit is dehydrated and finally thrown into a grit container. Screenings and grit can be disposed separately.
The Complete plant can be equipped with an additional Grit Trap Aeration. Furthermore it can be completed by a Grease Trap Aeration and grease trap are additional equipment improving the entire function.
If necessary the plant can be additionally equiped with an integrated screenings and grit washing.
The electrical control of the plant works fully automatically depending on the water level, the grit trap works depending on the time.
