Modernization of the electricity consumption system requiring water supply in accordance with the requirements of the 1st category of reliability
In 2021, JSC "Gandras energoefektas" signed a contract with JSC "Visagino energija" for installation of 320kW diesel generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply to pumps supplying water for the residents of Visaginas. In accordance with the Customer's requirements, the work was carried out at a working facility, without the possibility of shutting down the existing equipment.
The following works were carried out during the project:
- Supply and installation of 320kW diesel generator in an existing building with foundation, exhaust and ventilation system arrangement; genset starts up automatically when pump station mains power is lost (ATS system);
- Construction of a new cableway;
- Start-up and adjustment of the newly installed diesel generator.
Also, within the scope of this project, the client was provided with a mobile 45kW diesel generator, which can be connected to any of the client's wells as needed.
